Mr. Freezle & Chilli
Musical Wind-Up Bear ~ Plays "Frosty the Snowman"

$275
After putting the finishing touches on little bear and his friend, I placed his "old top hat upon his head"...and sure enough they began to dance around!  "Wait a minute!", little bear protested... "This song is all wrong!"  "What do you mean little bear?", I asked.  "Well, for starters, my name is Mr. Freezle, NOT Frosty". He then crossed his eyes to look at his nose..." This is NOT a button here, my eyes are quality German glass certainly NOT coal, and as for the corncob pipe...everyone KNOWS that smoking is bad for you!"  Little bird pretended to cough. "Hack, hack!".  Little bear giggled and added, "And where does it mention my best friend here...Chilli?!" Little bird nodded his in agreement.  "Hmmmm....", I pondered,"You have a point there".  So, little bear took out a paper and pen and he and Chilli enjoyed a wonderful afternoon together writing their OWN version of Frosty!

Mr. Freezle is a special musical bear.  He has a wind-up musical box in his back that plays his favourite song ~ "Frosty the Snowman".  He loves to hear his tune...and if you wind him up...you just might catch him dancing!

Little Miss Faye & Hester

"Little Miss Faye sat on her hay eating her curds and whey.  Along came a spider and sat down beside her...and she ate that too!"  "What!?...I am NOT eating a spider!",  protested Faye! "Ya...I am pretty sure that is not how it goes!"  Hester spat!  "Okay, okay!." I giggled.  "I can see how you might not think that was funny.  So how about...Along came a spider and sat down beside her and said "Hey...where is your tuffet?"  "Well...", they both pondered for a moment..."That is a bit better...but we think your story telling is getting pretty lame!", Little Miss Faye confessed. "Yes...LAME", grumbled Hester..."Eat the spider...what was she thinking?!!"

Little Miss Faye is approximately 5 1/2 tall and 4 inches sitting.  She has been hand sewn using a long beige sassy fur and has antique shaded paw and foot pads.  Little Miss Faye sees through shiny black glass eyes that I have been shaded in black/browns and purple "eye shadow".  She also has a touch of pink blush on her cheeks, and a cute little black embroidered nose. Bootsie McFly

$225

Little bear had just skipped into the room after being out all day!  "Good afternoon little bear!", I greeted. "How was your first day fishing?"  "Fantastic!", he beamed...I caught SEVEN fish!"  "Seven?", I was intrigued by his success..."What kind of lure did you use?"  "Lure?" little bear looked puzzled.  "Yes...It is what you attach to the hook to catch the fish with", I explained.  "HOOK?!", gasped little bear.  "I didn't use either of those!", he said in disgust.  "Then how did you catch seven fish?",  I was now thoroughly confused.  "Easy!", little bear exclaimed..."I found some fish attending school...it must have been recess because I did not see their teacher!  Anyways, I introduced myself and then said..." I am learning how to fish and would like to be friends...but I don't know how to get you into my water bucket!"  Little bear continued... "Then, the next thing I knew, the little fish were happily swimming into it!  We had a wonderful afternoon together, and then I gently poured them back into the creek so that they could go home for the night!  Fishing is so much FUN!", little bear was almost dancing with delight.  "That is absolutely lovely little bear!" I gave him a BIG hug..."You are the best FisherBear there EVER was!"

Bootsie McFly measures approximately 16 inches tall standing, which he can do on his own with those HUGE boots of his, and 10 inches sitting.  He has been completely hand sewn using a super soft curly-creamy-beige mohair. Although he doesn't need to use it, Bootsie has a fun fishing rod that was hand made for him in Australia.  He also wears a fishing bobble necklace around his neck.  His HUGE leather hiking boots were very difficult to get on...so please remember, that if you choose to remove them that you will get a workout putting them back on! :)  (Bucket and plant are for display only)

It was a beautiful fall day and little bear decided to wear her new oak leaf and acorn outfit to go for a stroll. She returned several hours later looking very disheveled. "Little bear...what happened to your hat and bow?", I asked concerned about her appearance. "Well", she started..."I was out enjoying the beautiful day when I came across five squirrels fighting over one acorn. When they saw the four acorns that I was wearing, their eyes widened and their mouths dropped to the ground!", she paused just long enough for me to interrupt. "Oh no!", I gasped, "And then they attacked you and took your acorns?", I asked alarmed.  Little bear laughed, "No, no, no, certainly not. They were very sweet! I gave my acorns to them so that the ALL had one. They were happy, I was happy, and we all enjoyed the beautiful afternoon together!"

"There...done!", he beamed proudly.  Little Bear got up from his desk to show me his masterpiece.  "I picked this shiny, bright red apple and wrote a poem for my new teacher!  Would you like to hear it?", Little Bear was so excited!  "Of course Little Bear!", I exclaimed with enthusiasm.  He cleared his throat and began..."Dear Teacher...I promise that I will be good, and pay attention like I should.  I promise that I will play fair, be a friend and show I care.  I promise that I'll try my best, do my homework and pass my test.  I promise not to tease the girls, not to bully or pull their curls.  I promise that I'll make you proud, and keep my promise like I vowed.", Little Bear looked up from his page, and shyly whispered..."I'm a little bit nervous!".  I smiled, gave him a big reassuring hug and said...

After trying to decide on what to wear to the costume party, little bear finally came into the room swinging her boa and walking with an over-exaggerated wiggle to her hips.  "You look marvelous as a "Flapper" little bear,  just marvelous!", I said admiring her outfit.  "As a what?" little bear asked with a perplexed look on her face.  "A flapper, little bear....that is what they called the ladies in the 1920's that created what many consider the "new" or "modern" woman.", I explained.  "Oh....", little bear giggled. "I thought maybe they were called flappers because they never stopped talking!"

Little bear had been busy collecting gadgets all week.  He piled them on the table in front of me and announced triumphantly..."There!  I have all of the necessary components!"  He had quite a collection of...STUFF!  "What is this all for little bear?", I inquired.  "I am Professor Punky Klockin-Sprocket...Master Steampunk Engineer and Inventor...and I have created schematics beyond your technological imagination." Little bear placed his blueprints down for me to see.  "Ultra-spectroscopic invisibility goggles, a fizzle-torc wormhole generator, aquadynamic coal-powered flying boat, an ornate cog-spinning lighter-than-air airship, and my greatest creation....a gizmatic steam-powered train-based time machine.", little bear was quite proud of his accomplishments.  "All of those spring-propelled gadgets, giant cogs, sprockets and clock parts are going to make those?", I was amazed.   "Well...probably not!", little bear laughed. "But they will sure look good on my hat!"

Captain Jack & his Sparrow

$325
After rummaging through the costume trunk, little bear wiggled into an elaborate pirate outfit.  "Aarrr Matey!  Batten down the hatches!" he exclaimed in his best version of a pirate accent.  "I have my pirate costume with my hat, a Kraken locket to ward off the evil beast, a treasure map and a lucky treasure chest key to unlock the Golden Booty when I find it.  Oh...I just need one more thing!" he stated, and off little bear went.  Sometime later, little bear returned with a small brown bird.  "There!", he said satisfied. "My costume is complete!"  "Little bear, why do you have a sparrow on your shoulder?" I was very much perplexed!  "Pirates are supposed to have a pet parrot!", I told him.  "Shiver Me Timbers!  A parrot?" little bear said in disgust.  "No, no, no...I am sure that in that Pirate Movie, Captain Jack had a Sparrow not a Parrot!"  The little sparrow winked at me and ruffled his feathers...obviously enjoying his new role and asking me to play along.  "Oh...I remember now!" I said, winking back at the little bird.  "Your costume is wonderful little bear!  Just wonderful!"

Captain Jack measures approximately 15 inches tall and 10 inches sitting.  He has been completely hand sewn using a  rust antique-curled sparse mohair with a dark brown backing and his paw and foot pads are an ultra soft brown wool felt.  Jack sees the pirate world through shiny black glass eyes that I have gently shaded in black and browns.  His large black embroidered nose on his tweezer-plucked muzzle has been waxed and buffed.
